City of Livermore Community Service Day
Sep. 19, 2026 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Every year, the City of Livermore, in partnership with the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District and the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District, hosts Community Service Day. This event brings our community together to enhance and beautify the city through numerous volunteer projects, which may include park clean-ups, fence painting, plantings, and other beautification efforts.

This year's event starts with a hearty breakfast at the Robert Livermore Community Center, prepared and served by the Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters Foundation. After breakfast, volunteers head off to project sites to help beautify our parks, schools, and various areas throughout the city.

Rotary Collaborative Impact Summit
Sep. 19, 2026 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Everyone is invited to the District 5170 Rotary Collaborative Impact Summit.

Visit the District 5170 Website for complete information.

Hosted by District Governor Geeta Kadambi (2026-27), the Rotary Collaborative Impact Summit reimagines the traditional Rotary District gathering — blending the energy of our District Conference with the purpose of Avenues of Service. The Summit is intentionally timed to ignite momentum early in the Rotary year — giving clubs the runway to turn inspiration into measurable impact. The Summit is where connection turns into action. This inaugural Summit is designed to spark bold collaboration — bringing clubs and nonprofits together to amplify impact and reach further, faster, together.

What to expect:

  • Impact in action: Experience engaging project showcases that bring to life how clubs and nonprofit partners are transforming communities. We’re looking for your help to identify and invite nonprofits whose work deserves to be seen and supported.
  • Voices that move you: Hear from a powerful speaker lineup, including Lex Gillette, blind paralympic track and field medalist, and Kevin Brookhouser, founder of GapJump AI, alongside inspiring Rotary and community leaders.
  • Culture and connection: Enjoy multicultural performances that celebrate the richness of local talent.
  • Hands-on impact: Participate in high-impact service projects with local nonprofits—so you don’t just talk about impact, you create it.

You will not just leave inspired — you will leave connected, activated, and ready to build partnerships that go further than ever before.

  • If you are a Rotarian or a member of the general public, you can register here. Rotarians can also register for club display tables on this site.
  • If you are a nonprofit wishing to sign up for a display table, register here. Rotarians who serve as staff or board members of a nonprofit and wish to reserve a display table for that organization should register through the nonprofit registration page and pay the applicable nonprofit fee.
