She challenges herself with rigorous Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) in all subject areas.

Outside of the classroom, Katie is a 4-year Varsity Flag Football Player and a 3-year GHS Basketball player. She also works as a referee and coach for younger players learning flag football.

Below Katie stands with the Student of the Month yard sign that Cheryl Bowers delivered to her home.
TODAY'S SPEAKER: ALLEGRA WILLIAMS, TRI-VALLEY CITY SERVE
CityServe serves as the initial contact point for individuals in crisis, helping them connect with essential resources and tools for survival.
The organization collaborates closely with Tri-Valley Haven, Open Heart Kitchen, and various other nonprofits, working alongside clients for sometimes for years to ensure their stability. Over 75% of the participants rely on SNAP benefits, which assist in providing food for their families and clothing for their children. Allegra expressed gratitude to the Rotary Foundation of Livermore and our club for their generous $25,000 donation, which has had an immediate positive impact on CityServe clients. In the past month alone, they supported 962 seniors, a number that has significantly increased recently. This year, they’ve received over 75,000 calls on their care line. There are numerous volunteer opportunities available; please visit their website to sign up for a chance to get involved.
