TODAY'S PROGRAM: The Rotarian Foundation of Livermore with Marc Roberts
Marc is the President-elect for the Rotarian Foundation of Livermore and a past President of the Livermore Rotary Noon club.  He also served as the City of Livermore's City Manager for 11+ years.  He now serves on the Livermore Area Parks and Recreation Foundation Board.
The Rotarian Foundation of Livermore is co-governed by a board of directors made up of members from both Livermore Rotary clubs.  It is a 501(c)3 allowing us to best leverage the efforts of both clubs, and optimize our fundraising.  A non-profit foundation managed by a Rotary club is rare with 85% of Rotary clubs not having one.
This Foundation impacts the Livermore Valley allowing investments to stay local but still providing flexibility for the greatest impact.
Watch for a couple of important fundraisers being organized for this year.  In April, a Western Themed event organized by JR Romero is scheduled.  Later in the year a fundraiser to assist the Tri-Valley Haven with furnishings for their new shelter is being organized by Mony Nop and Mary Ann Rosza.

The next Foundation Project is a refurbishment of the freight room at the Train Depot, and it will be named in memory of Alan Frank
