Chalk Talk with Ed Schumann
Ed had some very funny jokes that were a bit too long winded to capture. I need to learn to type faster!!
Here's Ed's fun football facts:
Next Monday there are two colleges playing for the national football championship: Indiana (15-0) and Miami.(13-2) Fernando Mendoza, quarterback, transferred to Indiana from Cal. He was awarded the 2025 Heisman Trophy last week. He's the number 1 quarterback in the country!
That's not all: Fernando Mendoza is playing in his hometown of Miami, but the full-circle moments don’t stop there.
Fernando and Alberto Mendoza’s dad, Fernando IV, played with Miami head coach Mario Cristobal at Christopher Columbus High School from 1984-1988.
PAUL HARRIS AWARDS: Jerry Hawkins and and Sarah Palmer received District 5170 Paul Harris Awards: Congrats!
