The
Rotary Foundation
Serving Communities Worldwide |
The
Rotary Foundation is our link to International Service. For many of us,
our only opportunity to be involved with serving those outside our club
and community is to contribute to the Rotary Foundation and thereby support
it’s programs. Programs such as Polio Plus, the Ambassadorial Scholarship
programs, Group Study Exchange (GSE) and the many matching grants programs
that need our annual contributions.
You become a Paul Harris Fellow by donating $1000.00 over time to The
Rotary Foundation. A donation of $100 makes you a Sustainer and a donation
of $200 earns recognition as a Double Sustainer. Once your contributions
reach the $1000 mark you are awarded a pin and medallion to signify your
achievement. District 5170 recognizes donors by awarding membership in
the Paul Harris Society of District 5170 and giving a distinctive gold
and blue emblem to be worn with the Rotary pin. Many Rotarians receive
multiple Paul Harris Fellowships often in the name of family members.
